Stromanthe Sanguinea is a stunning tall, upright growing indoor plant (up to 1.2m tall) with long dark green sword like foliage featuring light green stripes down the middle and burgundy red underneath. Position – Happy in low light or a brighter spot is fine, not too fussy. Water – moderate watering needs, water when the soil feels dry and ensure they drain well between soaks. If the upright foliage starts to go a bit limp it is a sign that it needs watering. Tips – Leaf shine really brings out the vibrant colours in the leaves. Liquid feed once a fortnight during Summer to encourage new, colourful growth. Safety – Stromanthes are non toxic to both cats and dogs.
